What's with the green car???

In case you're wondering about the green car in my profile, well, that's a happy tale!

It's a Skip Barber "Formula V" single-seat open-wheel race car and that's yours truly behind the wheel. (You thought it was Michael Schumacher, maybe??)

I spent a happy and exciting three days learning to drive that baby at Lime Rock Park, CT, with additional practice sessions at Sebring, FL and Pocono International Raceway, PA. My racing career was cut short by three things: a paucity of pesos, a surfeit of maturity, and loss of vision in one eye.

But it was great fun while it lasted!
