Waterfront Park, Trenton

In the middle of the first (and, I hope, the last) heat wave of the summer of 08, we went with Debbie and Nelson to a minor league baseball game. We had great seats -- Waterfront Park has no bad seats -- and they cost only $9 each for seniors.

I took some pictures. You'll see tossing out the first ball, scenes of the stadium, Nelson, Debbie & Cathy, managers exchanging lineup cards, choir getting ready to sing the national anthem, kids running in the field and standing next to their favorite Trenton Thunder player during the national anthem, the first pitch, a stolen base, the lights come on, rhubarb at second base!!, the Thunder mascot in a race down the 3rd base line with a kid, the game-winning hit, and then fireworks!
