Manny's back and JDDrew seems to over his season-long "slump". Even Youk got 3 hits tonight.

Can we sustain it? And will the Phillies win??

BUT, even if we are just the wild card, all those guys will be back (except maybe Gagne). And then we will have the horses to win it all!

Visit to Boston

We went to Boston last weekend (9/14-17) and had a great time. We got to spend time with Sara, Alan & Alisa, and Lisa, and even met James, Lisa's "beau" (do they say that any more? ;-))

Also, we met my old high school friend, Dave Cotton, at "Uncommon Grounds" for breakfast on Monday, and it took just 4.5 hours to get home from there. Oh, the food was very good too. And it was nice to see Dave again. :-)

Aaargh! I went back to vanilla Ubuntu 7.04. It seems to have everything I want and I can make my mouse "insensitive". What a wonderful way to while away the retirement hours!! :-)
