Been "Away"

Haven't written in quite a while. Not that I haven't had things to write about but they seem to be so negative.

I hate to read the newspaper or watch the news. Lord, but this world is such a horrible, unjust, mean, unfeeling, selfish place. People are so greedy and self-centered and I mean "important" people. Our leaders. The leaders of the world! Petty ignoramuses almost without exception.

The worst I think are the Christians who don't seem to remember anything about what Christ was supposed to have said, but are full of hatred toward people who do not believe what they believe. "Christian charity" has become an oxymoron!

And I am seeing too many doctors (and dentists) these days. It makes me uncomfortable. I have a cardiac catheterization scheduled for Thursday. No biggie, right? I'm tired of tests. If anyone finds anything wrong with me, why don't they just go ahead and "fix" me?

My bridge-playing hasn't been up to par lately.

And the Red Sox are losing. I guess I could ignore a lot of te above if they were winning. Dumb, huh?
