It's been a while, hasn't it?

It's been more than a month since I last wrote. Probably seasonally-affected disorder!

A bunch of medical tests -- it's that time of year -- and a month of wasted effort on a support site for OpenOffice have left me at best blah. But next weekend we travel North to see Sara so that should boost my spirits.

I'm also upset with the goings on in Washington. Is there no limit?

And I think I'm going to give up the website and mailing list I run for my community. It annoys me that people refuse to take advantage of some of what I've put there -- more wasted effort. And I'm getting uncharacteristically annoyed with some of the dumb questions and criticisms I'ver been getting lately. That's a good sign that the fun is going out of it and it's time to turn it over to someone else.

And I haven't been to a movie in AGES. I like movies but with one thing or another, we never go any more. Right now we're dealing with Cathy's fatigue and broken toe.

I do love my HDTV, though. :-)
